She made her Olympic debut at the London 2012 Olympics competing in the 100m hurdles. She followed up that appearance by competing in 2016 Rio Olympics. She has competed in 4 World Championships. In 2017 she transitioned to the sport of bobsleigh, winning a bronze medal at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics.
She was recipient of the Female Track Athlete of the Year. She studied Biological Sciences at the University of Connecticut graduating Summa cum Laude and still holds the school records in the hurdles.
